The 3rd Annual Leadership Program for Medical Directors/Coordinators in Long Term Care is being held October 13th and 14th, 2006 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver, BC. The theme this year is ‘Patient Safety – Creating a Culture of Safety in Long Term Care’.

This unique leadership development program is the only national forum in which Medical Directors/ Coordinators working in long term care are able to come together to learn, problem solve, network and address issues and challenges specific to long term care in Canada. The program, featuring two full days of plenary sessions, a poster and exhibit session and a number of informal networking opportunities, aims to stimulate discussion and provide practical solutions to issues that are common to many of Canada’s long term care sites.
